History:

The Spirit house began it's life as a small cottage way back in the 11th Century. It stood firm as the battle of Evesham raged outside, and has seen several historical moments in it's lifetime.

The stone used to make the cellar was taken from the ruins of Evesham Abbey which was dissolved by Henry VIII in January 1539.

From the 1800's The Spirit House became home to many businesses, including a Doctors's consulting rooms, a newspapers office, a dressmakers and a newsagents. Today, it's lower floor is a retail shop and spiritual centre, Spriitus - but when the lights go out and night falls, it becomes, The Spirit House! The House has a Victorian Seance room, which only enhances the energy for the Spirits to use!

HAUNTINGS:

The apparition of a Knight in Armour from the Battle of Evesham has been seen and heard catch his breath and panting.

Mary, the victorian maid and her baby.

The Doctor - a dark and menacing presence.

Several Monks.

The man with the scarred face.

Most disturbing of all though is Colin - the
who has MOVED LARGE ARMCHAIRS AND BUCKETS AND THROWN BOTTLES AND OTHER OBJECTS!. In the cellar area,
loud footsteps and noises can be heard upstairs - even though there is no-one else there!
